☢️Hey Wasters!☢️
A short update this month.
I've been busy finalizing my print files for the printer, and working out final quotes. I'll be going with a secondary manufacturer to produce the coins - and have prepaid the mold fees to get some samples made, hopefully I'll see those soon.
Overall the month has been pretty slow on Torque Borg news. The conversations around manufacturing quotes have been slower than I'd have hoped for, but with the state of the world I suppose I'm not terribly shocked by it either. But, we are now in the final stages before handoff. I suspect this will still take several more weeks as the manufacturer is taking a national holiday until October 6th.
I'm still slowly plugging away at the free mini-adventures, but I have some other commitments to put a bow on first before those are delivered.
ITCH KEYS: I just sent out an email for complementary keys for the Torque Borg core book over on Itch.io. If you have an Itch account and it matches the email that you backed the project with, click the link in the email and you'll have a free digital copy waiting in your library for you to claim! So far it's just the core book, but I'm working on having the adventures approved as well.
TORQUEMORTEM: I started up a Substack where I wrote about my experiences on the creation of Torque Borg and how it ended up as a successful crowdfunding campaign. If this sort of thing interests you, check it out here!

Shortly (for real this time!) you should be getting an email regarding complementary codes of Torque Borg and it's adventures to redeem via DriveThruRPG! It would mean a lot if you could review Torque Borg (good or bad) on DriveThru when you get your hands on your copy!
I'm still working on the Itch.io keys, but I bungled it up and I'm waiting to see if it's possible for me to un-bungle it.
And that's it!
Pretty short update this month. I did some traveling at the start of the month to scout out places for a move across the country early next year. On our way home we got massively delayed due to inclement weather, and now I've come down with some travel funk.
But not to worry - mostly this month has been about advancing conversations with my printing partner and finding the best fulfillment partners for the job!

Update #19 - 1.0 Release!

☢️Wasters! 1.0 Release is here!☢️
As you can likely tell from the title of this update - today is a very exciting day to be us! Torque Borg is officially being released as a completed thing! It's done!
By the time you read this message, it's likely that you have also received a Backerkit email informing you of new files for you to access. (Note: I removed access for the beta versions of the core book, both adventures, and the character sheets - just to try and prevent confusion of current versions. If you get a notification of removed files, it was those!)
Dropping today in 1.0 are the following:
- Torque Borg
- Echo of Steel
- Corpse Road to the Cranklands
- Waste of Water
- 8 Character Pregens - Both in full color and Printer friendly versions
- The GM Screen
- Character and Vehicle sheets - Form fallible and printer friendly verions included
- Digital Asset Pack - This includes 120+ assets: 8 maps, both grid and gridless, player and enemy tokens, vehicle tokens, and a full color map of the WASTE.
☢️What's next ☢️
Over the coming days I'll be releasing Torque Borg on DrivethruRPG, Itch.io and RPGTrader. I would really appreciate reviews of Torque Borg on those respective sites to help give it a launch boost!
It's now live on Itch.io, and will take a few days for Drivethru to greenlight it and for me to set up an RPGTrader account.
Speaking of Digital Marketplaces:
To not overwhelm everyone with a hundred messages, I'm going to let the initial burst of emails get past us and then I will be seeing about setting up free claim keys on both Itch.io and DrivethruRPG for those of you who wish to keep your Borgs in a unified library! So keep your eyes peeled for that!
If you are keeping track:
I still owe everyone the mini-scenario pack stretch goal! This one has been on my backburner as it's a digital-only reward and would not impact printing the way the other three adventures could. Now that all the physical rewards are complete, I'll be pivoting to this over the next few months, and hope to have it in your hands before you get your physical rewards.
Print times:
I don't have locked in print dates as of yet, but have no fear - I am in active conversation with my printing partners working with them on setting up these shiny new 1.0 files for a print run. I'll be sharing any physical proofs that come my way and keeping you informed on each step of the process.
I hope to have everything in motion by the end of August and fully printing/shipping by October at the latest, but I will keep you all informed as we move forward on the next part of this project.
I guess that's it! It's finally here and I feel like I need to catch my breath. I hope you all enjoy the WASTE and the horrible shit it throws at you. As always....
