We are finally in that final 48 hour stretch (40 at the time of this writing) and Torque Borg has been an immense success and I can't wait to get it into everyone's hands!
We smashed all the planned stretch goals we had - but I'd like to recap them in case anyone missed what we have added!
Torque Borg is gaining 2 new classes
New enemies (Old and New World Bots) - and expanded Astral Horrors (By Brian Collin of Vast Grimm fame!)
Mutations - maybe heavy doses of rads aren't the worst thing that can happen to you!
A Solo play zine by Scott McDonald (Creator of Wasteland Degenerates!) - this one is super exciting! If you missed it - the solo zine is included free in all tiers as a PDF, but Legendary Wasters get a physical version as well! (it's also available as an add-on!)
Waste of Water: Pysical Zine and PDF
Book upgrades!Painted edges (i'm thinking Black will look very slick), a book mark ribbon and printed end papers, will turn Torque Borg into a very nice looking book!
A new faction - roaming mutants and their lore!
A new digital Map Mack of 6 battlemaps of the WASTE!
Scenario Pack - four mini adventures (2-4 pages each) to bring some more life to the WASTE!
This was always my plan anyways, but - a free Torque Borg Character Generator will also be available on the future website!
I couldn't be more excited for the future of Torque Borg! This would not have been possible without each and every one of you, and I can't wait for you to be drug through the WASTE, kicking and screaming!

KOKOTÖNA is a grim-to-nobledark, rules-lite TTRPG inspired by the myths and legends of the Nahua peoples from precolonial Mesoamerica. This game will be initially available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Nahuatl.
KOKOTÖNA’s bones are grafted onto MÖRK BORG’s lightweight, rulings-over-rules framework, meaning it can be treated as both a setting or sourcebook for MÖRK BORG (or other OSR titles) campaigns, or used as a standalone, self-contained system. While you don't need MÖRK BORG to play this game, it is still 100% drop-in compatible with existing adventures, classes, NPCs and enemies originally designed for MÖRK BORG.

🔥Hello Wasters!🔥
With your help we have raised $40k for Torque Borg and counting, incredible! I cannot begin to thank you all enough, but hopefully Torque Borg being the best I can make it will do!
The past few days has seen Torque Borg pick up more momentum and we are hitting some exciting milestones! Since my last update we have unlocked several stretch goals. With these unlocks the book has grown to 150+ pages, and I can't wait for everyone to see it.
$28k: Unlocked Waste of Water: A solo play zine by the indomitable Scott McDonald (creator of Wasteland Degenerates). This solo zine will take you into the heart of Telestium, where you are pit against the Aureate and their dark games.
$35k: Unlocked our premium book upgrades. This one I have been very excited for. The book will now have painted edges and a bookmark ribbon for keeping your place. These two upgrades will really up the look of the book.
$40k: Unlocks a new faction to roam the WASTE. Mutants are often treated with disdain, and as their mutations progress they often loose control, turning into terrible and deadly horrors. Those who have been cast out travel the WASTE looking for a place to settle down, for their final days.

With the unlock of Waste of Water, it seems pertinent to take a deeper dive into the Aureate and the sealed city of Telestium.
The Aureate. The Aureate are a reclusive and pernicious faction who reside in their gleaming tower of Telestium, at the heart of the Razorplain. They are wealthy beyond measure, controlling the fresh water trade of the WASTE with an iron grip. In the shadow of the city lies Shadetown, where Scavvs and desperate wasters seek shelter from a cruel sun, swearing fealty to the Aureate for the false hope of a drop of clean water.
I'm also working on getting a free character generator up and running, hopefully sooner than later!

Drow Borg launched today - I've been seeing this one around on various socials and I'm keen to get my hands on it. This one is by AAW Games who did Rise of the Drow for 5e/Pathfinder, which I enjoyed greatly. DROW BORG is a punk rock, rules-light tabletop RPG set in the venom-cursed ruins of a fallen drow civilization. Check it out!
Lastly I wanted to shout out Erebus Mythos: Vampyr a short horror campaign inspired by Greek folklore and the strange events recorded in the village of Sofiko in 1846. Designed for use with Shadowdark RPG. I'm always down for more Shadowdark and Erebus Mythos is looking really good! Check it out!

Stretch goals! 🔓
It's been an awesome few days as Torque Borg was fully funded and we have unlocked our first three stretch goals!
$12k saw the addition of two new classes who will be roaming the waste $16k sees a brand new enemy faction - Old World Clankers (robots) will now test your limits and Brian Colin (of Vast Grimm fame) will be expanding our roster of Astral Horrors (the Bleed made manifest)! $22k adds some boons to becoming heavily irradiated, if you want to call being slowly melted by rads a boon. These mutations will come with pros and cons, giving you an edge even when you are wracked with rads.
Up next at $28k will see a solo play zine added to all tiers by Scott McDonald, creator of Wasteland Degenerates! Scott is an awesome guy and a fantastic creator. His Wasteland Degenerates Solo books are fantastic and I cannot wait to see what he does!
Beyond that at $35k is a free book upgrade for all physical pledges! We will be getting painted edges and a bookmark ribbon!

I don't want this update to be super long, so let me close this one out with a shoutout to another borg project and my plans for later. I'm going to do my best to be as communicative during and after Torque Borg's campaign. I plan on doing monthly updates on the first Monday of each month, giving insight into how the book and add-ons are coming along and new snippets of lore and the book. First up:
THEFUMERS. The Fumers work furiously to construct the body of their God, the Turbocharger. The Bleed saw the end of the world and now the Fumers seek to build it a physical body so it can finally finish the job. The Fumers live and die for the Turbocharger and his body is nearly complete.

TORQUE BORG IS HAPPENING!
Torque Borg is funded and soon we shall tear across the wretched WASTE, together! I don't quite have the words to describe how thankful I am for your support. I have been involved with many third party projects over the years, but never a solo one. I am humbled, thank you!
One small note on add-ons: I goofed up when I set up the add-ons and accidentally had the prices for the extra Collectors Edition hardcover and Standard Edition books swapped. If you managed to pick up a discounted Collectors edition, consider it a thank you for backing so early! I have since fixed the add-ons, but you may see the add-ons with their incorrect prices in the add-on manager, next to the correctly priced ones.
What's next:
Stretch Goals are soon to unlock, so here is a sneak peak at a few: I've opted to keep stretch goals relatively simple, and focused on expanding the book and the WASTE with additional content!
OTHER BORGS AND PROJECTS
The third party and TTRPG industry doesn't thrive without our help. I want to shout out other cool projects, or ones that deserve some attention!

RagnaBorg is a Viking hack compatible with Mork Borg and Pirate Borg. Set sail on the dangerous cold seas of Broken Midgard.
Road Rage is being headed up by Phil Beckwith, who I had the pleasure of working with during our tenure at Ghostfire Gaming! I'm excited to see where this one goes and I am excited and interested in their system. Check it out here!
Daggerwood Games' post-apocalyptic TTRPG, Road Rage is hitting Backerkit Crowdfunding soon! In a wasteland ruled by mutant warlords, toxic dust, and jury-rigged machines, you'll play as animal-folk Battlers scrapping for glory, gear, and survival. A d6 dice pool system with unique fail forward mechanics. The rules are light. The action is loud.
Finally, Scorched Basin is doing some cool and interesting things, they are in the final days of their campaign, so check them out!
